To get the Sony PSP or DS Lite?
Page 4 - Price and Games
Price
The PSP may be packed with a ton of features, but that does not mean that it is cheap. Sony has yet to announce a solid price. For now it is certain that Nintendo will be cheaper than the PSP, but how much is still debatable. Currently you can expect the Nintendo DS Lite at having a price between $149 and $199, but the latest rumors have been aiming at a price around $179. It has been said that Sony will actually be making very little profit for each system, if any profit, but the price is still being rumored as low as $249, but as high as $499. We don't expect the price of the PSP to go over $349, but if it does go that high, PSP will have a hard time convincing people not to pick up a DS Lite for half the price.
In 2006, the PSP now is not included in a value pack, but as a stand alone. It is now 200 USD.
The Nintendo DS Lite, in 2006 is given out as the Nintendo DS Lite for 130 dollars. You can still pick up the classic Nintendo DS Lite with Mario Kart for 150 dollars as well. Much more bang for you buck than the Sony PSP.
Verdict: DS Lite Even with all the features in the PSP, it is still appearing to be too expensive. The DS Lite still has good hardware and is also selling that hardware at a good price With the Nintendo DS Lite giving it a redesign to look trendy, the DS Lite really takes the edge in this category.

Games Selection
Without even need to write, we'll just provide a table of the top 20 games for each handheld to see which handheld has the lead.
Verdict: DS Lite This isn't even a contest. With all of the first party games that Nintendo is serving up, how can you not love the system? Sony needs more of that third-party support it is known for.
